We want the facts presented on to help inform decisions, affirm relationships and ultimately support the economies we serve. That can only be fully achieved with the consent and collaboration of all the partners in our community. For that reason we ask organisations in our community to contribute data in order to access our information – in this case we ask for certain key details about your organisation which allows you to view information on our site during the demonstration. If we are unable to authenticate the information you provide, your demo request will be declined. is a data resource and exchange for organisation in MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa, and we ask users to share details about them and their organisations in order to access our existing data. If you are an individual, you can still subscribe to our service – please contact us.
A credit allows users to request updates to organisation profiles they have found on or to order a search for an organisation in the Middle East or African countries that they have not been able to find on our site. This means that we will retrieve the latest information on record from the relevant authority, including all subsidiaries and affiliates in the country of registration, a process that takes 3-5 working days depending on the jurisdiction. The type of membership package determines how many credits and views each member organisation is entitled to.
In the first instance please contact your organisation’s budget holder or superuser (your nominated superuser is listed on the right hand side of the ‘My account’ page) and ask him / her to re-charge your organisation’s credits.
If you are an enterprise member, ask your superuser or the budget holder within your organisation to order more credits. Alternatively, you can choose one of our membership packages and pay by credit card.
A view allows members to view entire organisation profiles on We record your data usage and will deduct one view from your account, each time a user clicks on an organisation profile from the search results. Note that one view entitles the user to look at every section of that company profile as many times as they like within a 30 day period.
If you are looking at the same organisation profile within 30 days of your initial click, that will not count as another view. If you access the same organisation profile more than 30 days after your initial click, a further view will be deducted from your organisation’s account. You may also find the ‘Open PDF’ feature useful for saving the information you have already viewed.
If you are an enterprise member, ask your superuser or the budget holder within your organisation to order more views. Alternatively, you can choose one of our membership packages and pay by credit card.
Yes. Please contact us to find out more details. draws its information from Diligencia Group’s databases, covering around 5.5 million public & private organisations and unincorporated businesses across MENA and Sub-Saharan African countries. All the information on is derived from official sources in each country that we work in, including ministries, regulatory authorities, chambers of commerce and official gazettes. The only exception to this is where contact information (organisation website, or telephone numbers) is either missing or out of date on official records. This sourcing methodology is very important to us and allows us to provide truly authentic, reliable and accurate information on the MENA and Sub-Saharan Africa. You can read more about our research methodology here.
Currently, provides access to information on more than 2.6mn organisation profiles, but additional profiles are being added to at the rate of around 1,500 per week, so coverage is constantly increasing. Note that we only publish organisation profiles on that pass our own minimum criteria for comprehensiveness – we do not want to publish partially complete information. That means if you cannot find the organisation you are looking for, you can ask us to research it.
We provide information on 19 countries in the MENA region: Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates and Yemen; and 12 countries in SSA: Angola, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Seychelles, Senegal, Tanzania, Uganda and South Africa.
Our information is available in the official language of record for each country we work in (Arabic in much of the region, Farsi in Iran) as well as the English transliteration or French/Portuguese in some African countries. Please note that our information is always based on the official records and English transliterations can vary. If in any doubt, always use the Arabic or Farsi version as the definitive spelling.
Our information is not (nor do we claim it to be) 100% complete across the Middle East and African region, mainly because several countries in the region do not publish their company registries electronically, and so much of our information is based on records that have been individually retrieved and manually curated. When it comes to our individual organisation profiles, note that we only publish information on that passes our own minimum criteria for fullness (for example it must have all key registry data, including directors and shareholders). Even so, the Holdings and Affiliates sections may not be 100% complete as they are based on the results of our previous research. However, subscribers to our service can ask us to update our information at any time.
The information on our database is kept up to date by our team of analysts and researchers in the UK and Morocco. We decide which organisations to update based on user activity (use of credits, organisation getting themselves listed), proactive research of large / high profile organisations, and monitoring of regional press and gazettes. On occasion we also integrate large existing datasets that are available from government authorities in the region.
A fuzzy search is a way of broadening the parameters of a search if you don’t know the exact name or spelling of what you are looking for. Arabic and Farsi names can sometimes be transliterated into English in several different ways, so we have designed the fuzzy search to help you find the result you are looking for, even if you have spelt it slightly differently to us.
We have both full and partial organisation profiles. Full profiles contain all the registered details of that organisation, retrieved from official sources and then curated by our team of analysts. These are presented in relevant sections namely: summary, management, ownership, holdings, activities and a network diagram which visually maps the organisation’s relationships. Click here to view a full profile and use the dropdown selector next to 'Summary' to view the aforementioned sections. All this information can be downloaded in a PDF report by selecting the icon at the top of the profile.

Partial profiles contain some (but not all) facts about that organisation, displayed as greyed tiles in your search results. These partial profiles can be used to identify your subject organisation and support your initial research efforts. Our 'Request Update’ feature triggers our team to develop a full profile within 3-5 working days, at the cost of one credit.
Our person profiles reveal detailed information from basic personal data (such as gender and nationality), to all the publicly known holdings and management positions a person has with known organisations across the region. These relationships are highlighted on each profile by the relationship indicator while the network diagram can be used to visualise and navigate this information.
Holdings, or shareholdings, are stakes in other organisation that a person or organisation owns.
Affiliates are other holdings that an organisation’s owner or shareholder owns.
This feature allows you to monitor up to 10 organisations. Each monitor gives you unlimited views of the organisation for 30 days from date added, as well as email notifications when the organisation profiles are updated. Organisations can be removed by clicking on the star icon. If an organisation in your monitor list does not have a link, then the profile is no longer available. This functionality does not apply to people.
It is likely this will happen to you at some point because our information is not (nor do we claim it to be) 100% complete across the Middle East and African countries. If you cannot find a company that you are looking for, please contact us and we can undertake a search under the name you provide. We would ask that you provide as many details as you can, including the full name of the organisation and the city or country where you think it is registered. For subscribers this would require the use of 1 credit.
The date that each organisation profile was last updated is always clearly visible to users. If you require more up to date information simply click the ‘Request update’ button on the right of the page, and confirm that you wish to use 1 credit towards this. Our team will then deliver a report to you within 3-5 working days.
There may be certain circumstances when you have different information from what is displayed on – for example a supplier may have given you ownership details which are up to date but which have not yet been registered with the authorities, or perhaps you have sourced information from another provider. If so, we would like to hear about it – please email us or click on the ‘Suggest update’ button on the right hand side of most pages of our site and let us know the details. We will always come back to you once our analysts have clarified the situation.
Some corporate registries only require individual managers and shareholders to declare their year of birth. Our system records dates in a DD/MM/YYYY format and allocates the 1st January for anyone with only a year of birth on record.
Yes. Select the ‘Open PDF’ button towards the top right of our organisation profiles and after a short load time a PDF including all the information displayed in the profile will be downloaded. You can then print and/or save the document.
A key part of building trust in supply chains is to establish integrity and openness in all communications. This provides a strong platform for a collaborative approach between buyers and suppliers. To facilitate this collaboration across the supply chain, we have developed an accreditation programme which offers organisations the opportunity to share their data and to receive the ClarifiedBy seal as a sign of their commitment to integrity and openness. Organisations can do this according to our step-by-step accreditation process – please get in touch if you would like to find out more.
Once an organisation has completed the accreditation process, it can then use the ClarifiedBy seal to benefit from an enhanced profile, both on our portal and in the wider marketplace, as well as increased business opportunities. For its customers, it is a clear sign that their supplier is committed to integrity and openness in all communications. We will also give you access to our proprietary organisation information in exchange for the data you share with us.
We have different levels of accreditation – starting with a basic accreditation which consists of confirming your corporate registration details (including directors and shareholders) by submitting your articles of association and most recent licence certificate. Once these details have been clarified by our team you will benefit from an enhanced profile on our site, you will be entitled to carry the ClarifiedBy seal on your corporate literature, and you will have access to our proprietary organisation information. Please contact us if you would like to find out more.
